Over the past few years I have become more and more fascinated with Icelandic musicians, and Of Monsters and Men has only furthered my obsession. This indie-folk sextet who describe themselves as an amiable group of six day dreamers crafting folkie pop songs have yet to release their debut full-length album, My Head Is An Animal, but their single “Little Talks” has been making the rounds since last year, most recently in a music video released earlier this month. Created by We Were Monkeys‘ Mihai Wilson, the video is an epic adventure that captures the imagination with snowy landscapes and a bit of sorcery as the voyagers fend off mystical creatures.
